MISSION STATEMENT
The very first surfer was a shaper.
He thought about the design, how the board worked, why it did what it did, and how he could alter the board to make the ride different.
Today we ask the same questions.
THE BOARDROOM’s purpose is to spotlight, celebrate and exalt the good folks that provide the answers. The shapers, the laminators, the sanders, the chemists, the fin gurus, the artists, the ding kings, the CAD experts; ALL of the people that make up the modern day surfboard industry.
I’m stoked and excited to be honored during the ICONS OF FOAM SHAPE-OFF at THE BOARDROOM show in October. It’s going to be great watching the shapers I respect and admire attempt to replicate one of my classic boards.
